A Holistic, Philosophical, & Wisdom Based Approach to Mental, Physical, & Spiritual Health
You can’t think your way out of your suffering. Thoughts of course play a role, but it is also disruptive underlying emotions and ingrained habits, usually the result of varying degrees of past conditioning, that are the source of suffering. I am here to support you through patience, honesty, and guidance as you find the courage to make the changes in your life that will lead to peace.
Be Still In
Mind & Body
Sessions are available for either in-person or over the phone and can be used to help alleviate a wide range of issues. My approach is holistic in nature and thus targets problems at their roots instead of just treating symptoms. It is an approach inspired by depth psychology, attachment theory, existential thought, bioenergetics, holistic health, yoga, and other forms of eastern thought. It is an approach involving various activities whose purpose is growth, reflection, and empowerment. All activities are based around the power of finding stillness, of calming the mind and body long enough to actually experience peace and to realize you are more than what has happened to you.

This approach is particularly helpful when it comes to issues related to anxiety, depression, inattention, self-esteem, athletic confidence, relationship/attachment issues, problems with motivation, and meaning of life dilemmas. Ultimately, you choose to go as deep as you would like to understand and improve your life. For some people this may involve numerous sessions of an intensely deep kind. Others may simply want an objective set of ears to listen to a proposed plan or set of ideas. Still others may simply want travel advice offered from my experience.

Lastly, I am happy to assist veterans with their transition back to civilian life, and with any residual trauma stemming from service. I am aware of the difficulties that this can involve. I also know that many issues facing veterans did not begin with their service. In many cases, the seeds of habits and behaviors which end up manifesting themselves were planted years ago and will need to be addressed if a more thorough transition is to take place.
